Garland is an unincorporated farming community in the Shoshone irrigation project north of Powell, in Park County. Like much of the Big Horn Basin, its fire risk lives in grain and hay storage, equipment and fuel sheds, and ag-processing buildings.
These are mostly Class A and Class B hazards: combustible crop material plus fuels and solvents in the shop. We specify dry chemical and Class B units where they fit the work, keep every cylinder charged and tagged, and pull units for hydrostatic testing before the date stamp ages out.
Garland is on our regular Powell-area route, so it gets the same NFPA 10 service as the rest of Park County: annual certifications, recharges, installs, and on-site training, with no travel surcharge.
